Opening Hours
We are open 365 days a year. Our box office opens 30 minutes before the first scheduled screening of the day. As screening times vary strongly, please note the current information on the homepage of our website. At night, our box office closes 15 minutes after the starting time of the last scheduled screening.
Film Rating
Unlike some other countries, Germany has a law for the protection of children and youth which regulates their admission to public venues, including movie theatres. Therefore, like all other German movie theatres, the CINEMA has to adhere to these so-called FSK regulations and observe the age restrictions of each film. Please notice: the age restriction can NOT be “overruled” by the accompaniment of an adult.
The ratings/age restrictions for each film may be found on our website in the film description. If no rating is specified yet, please refer to the www.fsk.de for updates on the film of your choice. Here you may also find further explanations to the different categories and film ratings.
The ratings are neither based on educational recommendations nor aesthetic evaluations; it strictly aims to consider the well-being of the youngest members of each age group.
In other words, “approved for age 6 or older” is thereby NOT equivalent to “recommended for age 6 or older”.

“FSK approved for age 0 and older”. For the further protection of infants, no children under 2 years of age will be admitted to our auditorium. |

“FSK approved for age 6 and older”. This age restriction may NOT be overruled by parents. | |

“FSK approved for age 12 and older”. This is the only rating with a parental guidance exception: Children aged 6 or older may also be admitted if accompanied by at least one of their own parents. |

The CINEMA is located in the city’s Neuhausen/Maxvorstadt district and easily accessible by public transportation. Both the U1 subway line and the 20/21 tram take you right to the STIGLMAIERPLATZ stop, only 2 minutes from the theater.

If you arrive by car, public street parking is available in the parking zone areas surrounding the CINEMA.
